Four Seasons opened a boutique hotel in Bogota, the Colombian city Forbes calls "South America's next capital of cool." The 64-room luxury property has taken the home of the former Hotel Charleston in the city's fashionable Zona T. The hotel's aesthetic was overhauled by renowned American interior designer Lauren Rotett.
In a city known for sprawling mountain views, Spanish Colonial architecture and a vibrant art scene, the hotel is located in a high-end neighborhood dotted with boutiques, nightclubs and trendy restaurants. Local society types have rejoiced the return of Biblioteca restaurant, once an institution inside Hotel Charleston and now re-opened and re-invented at the Four Seasons.
This the hotel group's second property in Bogota, a sister property to Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota.
