Crafted from an orange lacquered guaje or crescentia cujete*, this structured circular-shaped style bag is hand-painted in a leopard print. Carry it by the mini bamboo top handle.
* The crescentia cujete (or guaje) is a fruit from the Calabash Tree that was used by the ancient Mayans of the Yucatan Peninsula to prepare their bowls, maracas, or containers. When the fruit is mature - it is cut in half, thoroughly cleaned, and boiled in water with lime. Then, the guaje can be stained or painted in different colors.
