Wearing a Johanna Ortiz dress.
C: We love how you chose to wear the Poppy dress by Johanna Ortiz as a blouse for your shoot. What drew you to this piece?
JM: I love the idea of pairing an off-the-shoulder top with jeans—it's the only way that I can make a feminine piece work for me as I tend to be a bit of a tomboy. This Johanna Ortiz number is so versatile, as you see, it can be worn as a top or a dress, and also, for day and night. Plus, who doesn't love a train?
C: Where would you wear this?
JM: This look can go anywhere! It would be perfect from the Upper East Side to Tribeca and even on vacation in a tropical island or a European city.
C: Do you think the collections of Latin American designers on Cooperativa speak to current U.S trends?
JM: Definitely. The off the shoulder and ruffles trends are still going strong and there are so many beautiful options on Cooperativa. I also love how vibrant the colors and prints are.
